USB 3.0 A samec - USB A samec 2,00 m ACT SB3002

The ACT USB 3.0 A male to USB A male 2.00 m cable provides a straightforward wired connection between two USB-A ports. With support for USB 3.0 transfer speeds up to 5 Gbit/s and a two-metre length, it is designed for flexible placement of devices while maintaining reliable data throughput. The cable has durable USB-A connectors and a black jacket that fits most desktop and office environments.

Advantages

This USB 3.0 A male to USB A male cable supports high-speed data transfer up to 5 Gbit/s for faster file copying and synchronisation compared with USB 2.0. The two-metre length offers additional reach to connect PCs, laptops, printers, external hard drives or other USB-A equipped devices without restricting desk layout. Robust connector housings and a stable outer sheath improve mechanical durability and maintain consistent signal quality during regular use.

Suitable for

• Connecting external hard drives or SSDs to a computer
• Linking printers, scanners or other peripherals with USB-A ports
• Transferring large files or performing backups between devices
• Temporary or semi-permanent cable runs in office and home setups

Key specifications

• Connector 1: USB A (male)
• Connector 2: USB A (male)
• Cable length: 2.00 m
• Maximum data transfer rate: up to 5 Gbit/s (USB 3.0)
• Product colour: Black

How to use

Plug one USB-A connector into the host device (for example a computer or laptop) and the other USB-A connector into the peripheral device (such as an external drive or printer). Ensure both devices are powered on where required. The cable supports plug-and-play operation with operating systems that provide native USB 3.0 support; drivers may be required for some legacy devices. Avoid bending the cable sharply near the connectors to preserve performance and longevity.

Recommendations

For best performance, connect the cable to USB 3.0/3.1 ports on both devices to achieve the advertised 5 Gbit/s transfer rate. When using devices that draw power from the host, check that the host port supplies sufficient current; otherwise use a powered hub or external power for the peripheral. Store the cable coiled without tight loops and keep it away from heat sources or sharp objects to extend service life.
