Advantages

The hub offers four USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports that support data rates up to 5 Gb/s while maintaining a small footprint (79 × 42 × 11 mm) and a short integrated cable (0.15 m). Its simple black design fits well on a desk and allows convenient placement or discreet storage. The device draws power from the connected USB port, ensuring easy, cable-free power supply for typical peripherals.

How to use

Connect the hub’s built-in cable to a free USB port on your computer. Once the operating system recognises the hub, plug in USB devices into any of the four Type-A ports. For best transfer speeds, connect devices that support USB 3.x to the hub’s ports and use a USB 3.x-capable host port when available. No external power adapter is required for typical low-power peripherals.

Recommendations

To achieve the maximum 5 Gb/s transfer rate, use the NATEC Moth with USB 3.x-compatible devices and connect to a USB 3.x host port. Avoid overloading a single host port with high-power devices simultaneously; use a powered hub if you need to run multiple power-hungry peripherals at once.
