USB predlžovací kábel DIGITUS AK-112331, 3 m, USB-A konektor samec na USB-A konektor samica, USB 3.2 Gen 1, čierny

DIGITUS AK-112331 is a 3 m USB extension cable with a USB A male to USB A female connector and support for USB 3.2 Gen 1 data rates. The cable extends the effective reach of USB A ports while preserving high-speed transfer performance for compatible devices. Its black jacket and standard connectors make it suitable for a wide range of setups, including desktop PCs, notebooks, docking stations and external storage devices.

Advantages

The cable supports USB 3.2 Gen 1 signaling, enabling high-speed data transfers up to the standard throughput of this specification while remaining backward compatible with USB 2.0 and USB 1.1 devices. A male-to-female extension design provides convenient cable routing and placement flexibility without requiring replacement of existing device cables. The 3 m length offers extra reach for peripherals and storage devices, reducing the need to relocate equipment. Standard USB A connectors and a durable outer jacket ensure straightforward connection and reliable day-to-day use.

Suitable for

• Extending the reach of USB A peripherals such as keyboards, mice and printers
• Connecting external hard drives or SSDs where extra cable length is needed
• Providing easier access to rear USB ports on desktop computers or docking stations
• Temporary or permanent cable routing in home, office, or workshop environments

Key specifications

• Cable length: 3 meters
• Connector type: USB A male to USB A female
• Data interface: USB 3.2 Gen 1 (backward compatible with USB 2.0/1.1)
• Color: black
• Typical use: data transfer and port extension for USB A devices

How to use

Insert the USB A male connector of the extension cable into the host device or existing USB cable, then plug the peripheral's USB A male plug into the extension cable's USB A female socket. Ensure connections are fully seated to maintain signal integrity. For best performance, connect USB 3.2 Gen 1 capable devices and ports at both ends; if either end supports only USB 2.0 or lower, data speeds will be limited to that standard. Avoid sharp bends near the connectors and keep sufficient slack to prevent strain on ports.

Recommendations

Use the extension cable indoors and avoid exposure to moisture or extreme temperatures. For sustained high-speed transfers, connect devices directly to a host port or hub rated for USB 3.2 Gen 1 when possible; use the extension when convenience or placement requires extra length. Inspect connectors periodically for debris and secure connections to prevent accidental disconnection.
