USB prepínač UGREEN UGR423 2x1 čierny — 2 počítače na 1 USB zariadenie, manuálne tlačidlo

UGREEN UGR423 USB sharing switch is a compact 2x1 solution that allows two computers to use a single USB peripheral without reconnecting cables. Housed in a black enclosure, the unit provides a manual front button for immediate toggling between connected hosts. Intended for simple desktop environments, it supports common USB devices such as keyboards, mice, printers and other peripherals, helping reduce cable changes and free up USB ports.

Advantages

The device offers straightforward manual switching between two hosts using a single visible button, eliminating the need to unplug and replug devices. Its small footprint and simple USB connections make installation fast and unobtrusive on a desk. The switch preserves the original peripheral functionality while allowing quick host selection, which is suitable for shared setups where only one system needs access at a time.

Suitable for

• Sharing a keyboard and mouse between two desktop computers
• Connecting one USB printer to two different PCs
• Using a single external hard drive or flash drive alternately from two systems
• Switching a USB scanner or other single-host peripheral between machines

Key specifications

• Form factor: compact 2-input to 1-output USB switch
• Switching method: manual front push button
• Color: black
• Supported devices: standard USB peripherals (keyboards, mice, printers, storage, scanners)
• Installation: plug-and-play, no driver required for most operating systems

How to use

Connect the target USB device to the switch output port and then connect the two computers to the switch input ports using the supplied or compatible USB cables. Power on the computers and press the front button to select which computer has access to the connected peripheral. The active host will gain control of the USB device while the other host is disconnected from it. No special software is required for basic operation; operating system USB handling provides recognition of the peripheral when switched.

Recommendations

Use the switch with non-time-critical peripherals; some high-bandwidth or latency-sensitive devices (for example, certain gaming controllers or USB audio interfaces) may not perform identically when switched. For storage devices, ensure file operations are completed and safely ejected on one host before switching to the other to avoid data corruption.
