Vertikutátor / prevzdušňovač trávnika EINHELL GC‑SC 18/28 DS Li‑Solo — pracovná šírka 28 cm, batériový (len zariadenie)

The EINHELL GC‑SC 18/28 DS Li‑Solo is a battery-powered scarifier and lawn aerator with a 28 cm working width, designed to remove moss, thatch and surface debris while promoting air and water penetration into the turf. As a tool-only model, it is compatible with the Einhell 18V Power X‑Change battery system (battery and charger sold separately). Its compact working width and cordless operation make it suitable for small to medium lawns where mechanical dethatching and aeration are required to improve grass health and soil structure.

Advantages

The device combines scarifying and aerating functions in one unit, allowing mechanical removal of moss and thatch while creating slits in the turf for better aeration. Battery operation provides freedom of movement without cables, and the relatively narrow 28 cm working width offers good maneuverability around shrubs, paths and tight garden areas. The construction is lightweight yet robust for regular seasonal maintenance, and the tool-only format lets users choose compatible batteries from the Power X‑Change ecosystem.

Suitable for

• Small to medium domestic lawns
• Lawns with light to moderate moss and thatch accumulation
• Regular seasonal maintenance and spring or autumn lawn care
• Gardens where cordless operation is preferred for mobility

Key specifications

• Working width: 28 cm
• Power source: compatible with 18V Li‑Ion battery platform (battery sold separately)
• Functions: scarifying (dethatching) and aerating
• Design: cordless, handheld/compact scarifier unit for lawns
• Typical application: mechanical removal of moss and thatch; creation of slits to improve air and water permeability

How to use

Before use, ensure the lawn is dry or only slightly damp and clear of large debris. Fit a charged 18V Power X‑Change battery according to the manufacturer's instructions and select the appropriate working speed or setting if available. Move the scarifier steadily across the lawn in overlapping passes at a pace that allows the blades or tines to engage with the thatch layer; for aeration, make a second pass at a perpendicular angle if deeper penetration is required. After operation, collect or rake up the removed moss and thatch to prevent smothering and to allow fresh air and nutrients to reach the soil. Disconnect the battery before cleaning or storage.

Recommendations

For best results, scarify and aerate the lawn during active growth periods in spring or autumn when grass can recover quickly. Avoid scarifying during drought or extreme heat. Regular light maintenance passes are preferable to aggressive, deep scarification on weak turf. Use compatible batteries with sufficient charge capacity to complete the area you plan to treat; consider multiple batteries for larger lawns.
