The Hikvision DS-KV8113-WME1(C) 2 MP IP65 video intercom system provides a compact, weather-resistant outdoor station with Full HD 1920 x 1080 video and integrated night vision up to 3 m. Designed for entry-point communication and monitoring, the device combines wired Fast Ethernet and wireless Wi‑Fi 4 connectivity to support remote access, two-way audio communication, and live video streaming. The IP65-rated housing protects the unit from dust and water jets, making it suitable for installation at building entrances, gates, and other exterior locations.

Advantages

The unit delivers clear 2 MP resolution video for identification at short to medium distances and reliable night-time visibility up to 3 m. Dual connectivity options — Fast Ethernet and Wi‑Fi 4 — provide flexible installation where network cabling is limited. The IP65 enclosure ensures durability in outdoor environments, while integrated microphone and speaker enable hands-free two-way audio. The system supports standard intercom functions and remote monitoring, reducing the need for on-site personnel during access control events.

How to use

Install the outdoor station at the chosen entrance location following the manufacturer’s mounting guidelines and ensure a stable power and network connection. Use the wired Fast Ethernet port for a fixed network connection where available, or configure the Wi‑Fi 4 settings to connect the device to the local wireless network. Pair the unit with compatible indoor stations, mobile apps, or a central management platform to enable live video preview, call handling, and remote unlocking. Adjust camera angle and secure mounting to achieve optimal field of view and reliable audio pickup.

Recommendations

Place the unit at a height and angle that capture visitors’ faces within the 3 m night-vision range. For continuous reliability, prefer wired Fast Ethernet in high-interference areas and reserve Wi‑Fi 4 for locations where cabling is impractical. Regularly check seals and mounting hardware to maintain IP65 protection, and update device firmware through the official management interface to ensure compatibility and security.
