To maximize battery life, use high-capacity Ni-MH rechargeable batteries. When using wireless mode, ensure all units are set to the same channel and group for reliable triggering. For HSS, set your camera to a shutter speed above the sync speed and enable HSS on the flash. Keep the firmware updated via USB to maintain compatibility with new camera bodies.
