Rukoväť Manfrotto MVGBF-CF

GimBoom is a fast, compact boom by Manfrotto designed to mount and extend your gimbal for more versatile camera positions. Constructed from carbon fibre, it combines a minimum operating length of 0.51 m with a full extension of 1.15 m while remaining lightweight (approx. 0.8 kg) and able to support payloads up to 6.5 kg. The top section accepts standard 3/8" and 1/4" screws for direct connection to most gimbals, and three thread connectors arranged at 120° enable use with dedicated GimBoom accessories.

Advantages

The carbon-fibre construction provides a high strength-to-weight ratio, allowing a maximum payload of 6.5 kg while keeping the boom compact and portable. The FAST Twisting Lock system permits rapid deployment and single-gesture control of extension and locking. Its compact folded size and light weight make it suitable for hand baggage transport, and a rubber protective cap helps prevent damage when the boom is placed on the ground.

Suitable for

• Gimbal-mounted video shooting requiring ground-level to overhead perspectives
• Travel and location shoots where compact, hand-luggage-sized gear is needed
• Accessory mounting and rigging with dedicated GimBoom fittings

Key specifications

• Material: carbon fibre
• Weight: approx. 0.8 kg
• Minimum operating length: 0.51 m
• Maximum extended length: 1.15 m
• Maximum payload capacity: 6.5 kg
• Top attachment screws: compatible with 3/8" and 1/4" threads
• Three accessory thread connectors arranged at 120° on the middle section

How to use

Attach the GimBoom to your gimbal using the top 3/8" or 1/4" screw depending on your gimbal mount. Use the FAST Twisting Lock to extend the three telescopic sections and adjust the two risers until you reach the desired length and balance; the intuitive graphic markings indicate lock positions. When finished, retract the sections and secure the locks for transport, and replace the rubber cap on the accessory threads to protect them when resting the boom on the ground.

Recommendations

For stable operation, balance the gimbal and camera payload near the recommended center of gravity and avoid exceeding the 6.5 kg payload limit. Regularly check locks and connector threads for wear and keep the rubber cap in place when accessories are not attached.
