VivoLink USB 3.0 Type-A na Type-A predlžovací kábel PROKEYUSB3AFM3W 3 m biela

VivoLink PROKEYUSB3AFM3W is a USB 3.0 Type-A to Type-A extension cable in white, designed to extend existing USB connections while preserving USB 3.0 transfer speeds. At 3 m length, this extension cable provides extra reach for peripherals, external drives, hubs and other USB devices, enabling more flexible device placement without relocating the host computer.

Advantages

The cable supports USB 3.0 data transfer rates and is backwards compatible with USB 2.0/1.1 devices. Its Type-A male to Type-A female configuration allows simple extension of an existing USB connection without adapters. The 3 m length offers additional reach for desktop setups, AV systems and workstations, while the white jacket blends with light-coloured equipment and reduces visual clutter. The cable is suitable for use with peripherals that require stable wired connections and aims to maintain signal integrity across the extended distance.

Suitable for

• Extending connections to external hard drives and SSD enclosures
• Connecting USB hubs or docking stations located further from the host
• Extending reach for printers, scanners and webcams
• AV and presentation setups where cable length flexibility is needed
• Temporary setups and workstation cable management

Key specifications

• Connector type: USB 3.0 Type-A male to Type-A female
• Cable length: 3 m
• Colour: White
• Compatibility: USB 3.0, backward compatible with USB 2.0 and USB 1.1
• Data transfer: Supports SuperSpeed USB up to 5 Gbps (subject to host/device capabilities)

How to use

Plug the Type-A male end of the VivoLink extension cable into an available USB Type-A port on your computer or host device, then connect your USB device to the Type-A female end. Ensure connections are fully inserted to maintain a reliable signal. When used with high-bandwidth devices, connect to USB 3.0 ports on both host and peripheral to achieve SuperSpeed performance. Avoid excessive bending near the connectors and route the cable to minimize interference from power cables and other sources.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use the cable for data transfer and device connectivity within a typical desktop environment; if powering high-current devices or long-distance active signal boosting is required, consider powered hubs or active extension solutions. Store the cable coiled without tight kinks and inspect connectors occasionally for debris to ensure consistent connections.
