Vodné čerpadlo Kärcher BP 4 HOME & GARDEN

The Kärcher BP 4 HOME & GARDEN is a high-quality water pump designed for garden irrigation and supplying domestic appliances from alternative water sources such as rainwater tanks. It features an automatic start/stop function, dry-running protection with error indication, a maintenance-free motor and integrated non-return valve, providing reliable operation and constant pressure for efficient garden watering.

Advantages

The pump delivers up to 4.5 bar operating pressure and a flow rate up to 3800 l/h while the 950 W motor ensures stable performance. Automatic start/stop control enables hands-free activation when a connected device demands water; dry-running protection switches the unit off to prevent damage and signals faults. Two outlets allow simultaneous connection of two devices, an integrated foot switch and sound-absorbing rubber feet increase ease of use, and the standard prefilter protects the pump from coarse debris. Durable, high-quality materials and an available extended five-year warranty support long service life.

Suitable for

• Garden irrigation and sprinkler systems
• Supplying washing machines and toilets with reclaimed water
• Drawing water from tanks, wells or cisterns (up to 8 m suction height)
• Two devices operated simultaneously (e.g., hose and sprinkler)

How to use

Install the pump on a level, stable surface close to the water source and connect suction and pressure hoses according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Connect the pump to a suitable 230–240 V power supply. Use the integrated foot switch or connect devices to the outlets; the pump will start automatically when a connected device requires water and stop when demand ceases. Regularly check and clean the prefilter to ensure reliable operation and prevent blockages. If the dry-running protection activates, stop the unit, resolve the water supply issue and reset according to the manual.

Recommendations

The pump is intended for use with non-potable reclaimed water such as rainwater. Do not use for drinking water supply. Observe local regulations for reclaimed water use. For long service life, protect the pump from freezing, avoid running it dry, and perform periodic inspection and cleaning of the prefilter and hoses. Consider the available extended five-year warranty for additional coverage.
