Vŕtačka Black & Decker BL188K-QW

The Black & Decker BL188K-QW is a pistol grip brushless drill designed for general-purpose drilling and screwdriving. It delivers a maximum no-load speed of 1650 RPM and accepts bits via a keyless chuck for quick bit changes. The tool drills up to 35 mm in wood and up to 13 mm in steel and is powered by an 18V, 1.5 Ah battery supplied with the unit, making it suitable for home and light-professional applications where portability and straightforward operation are required.

Advantages

The brushless motor improves efficiency and reduces maintenance compared with brushed alternatives, while the pistol grip design provides ergonomic handling and control. The keyless chuck simplifies bit changes without additional tools. A compact form factor and included battery allow cordless operation for increased mobility on jobsites or around the house. The combination of drilling and screwdriving capability covers a wide range of common tasks.

Suitable for

• Drilling holes in wood, drywall and composite materials (up to 35 mm)
• Drilling smaller holes in metal and steel (up to 13 mm)
• Driving screws for furniture assembly and light carpentry
• General repair, renovation and maintenance tasks around the home
• Portable work where cordless power and compact size are required

Key specifications

• Design: Pistol grip drill
• Motor type: Brushless
• Chuck: Keyless
• Maximum no-load speed: 1650 RPM
• Maximum drilling diameter in wood: 35 mm
• Maximum drilling diameter in steel: 13 mm
• Power source: 18V battery (1.5 Ah capacity included)

How to use

Fit the desired drill bit or screwdriver bit into the keyless chuck and tighten by hand until secure. Select an appropriate speed setting if the tool has variable speed control and apply steady, even pressure while drilling—let the tool do the work rather than forcing it. For screwdriving, start at lower speed and increase as needed to avoid stripping heads. Monitor battery charge level and replace or recharge the battery when power drops to maintain consistent performance.

Recommendations

Use appropriate drill bits for the material: wood bits for timber, metal bits for steel and high-quality screwdriver bits for fasteners. Wear eye protection and follow standard safety procedures. For sustained heavy-duty metal drilling, allow intermittent cooling pauses to prevent bit overheating. Store the tool and battery in a dry place and follow manufacturer guidance for battery charging and care to maximize service life.
