The Bosch GSB 12V-15 pistol grip drill is a compact cordless tool designed for drilling and screwdriving tasks in domestic and professional environments. It features a brushless motor for improved efficiency and durability, delivers up to 1300 RPM no-load speed, and accepts drill bits suitable for wood drilling up to 19 mm. Supplied with a 2 Ah lithium‑ion battery and an accessory set that includes an additional battery and 25 drill bits, this model balances portability, runtime and task flexibility for a range of everyday applications.

Advantages

The brushless motor provides higher efficiency and reduced maintenance compared with brushed designs, helping extend tool life and battery runtime. The pistol grip design offers comfortable handling and better control when working in confined spaces or at awkward angles. Variable speed control and reverse function increase versatility for drilling and screwdriving tasks, while the included spare battery and assortment of drill bits reduce downtime and the need for immediate additional purchases.

Suitable for

• Drilling holes in wood up to 19 mm diameter
• Screwdriving in furniture assembly and light construction work
• General household repairs and installations
• Portable on-site jobs where compact cordless tools are required

• Motor type: Brushless
• Power source: Lithium‑ion battery (rechargeable)
• Battery capacity: 2 Ah (per battery)

How to use

Charge the battery fully before first use and insert it into the drill until it clicks into place. Select an appropriate drill bit for the material and secure it in the chuck, ensuring it is tightened. Adjust the speed setting according to the task and material — start at lower speed for large-diameter holes or hard materials and increase speed for smaller holes in softer materials. Use the reverse function for removing screws or clearing a stuck bit. After use, remove the battery and store the drill and accessories in a dry place.

Recommendations

For consistent performance, use the supplied 2 Ah lithium‑ion batteries and follow the manufacturer’s charging cycles. Match drill bit type and size to the material: use wood bits for timber, standard twist bits for general-purpose drilling, and avoid overloading the drill by applying steady, moderate pressure. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment such as safety glasses and hearing protection when necessary.
