Vŕtačka s pištoľovou rukoväťou Metabo BS 18 LTX BL Q I 2000 ot/min

The Metabo BS 18 LTX BL Q I 2000 RPM is a pistol grip drill designed for professional and DIY tasks where compact size and high efficiency are required. This model weighs approximately 1.7 kg and integrates a brushless motor that delivers consistent torque and improved runtime. The tool features a keyless chuck with a 1.3 cm capacity and reaches up to 2000 revolutions per minute in no-load conditions. Intended primarily for drilling in wood up to 20 mm and related fastening tasks, the drill operates from an 18 V lithium polymer battery system for portable use without a cord.

Advantages

The brushless motor provides greater efficiency and reduced wear compared with brushed designs, resulting in extended service life and longer runtime per charge. A compact pistol grip form factor and modest weight make the tool easier to handle in overhead or confined applications. The keyless 1.3 cm chuck allows quick bit changes without additional tools, and the high no-load speed of 2000 RPM supports faster drilling in softer materials. Battery-powered operation ensures mobility and suitability for on-site work where mains power is not available.

Suitable for

• Drilling holes in wood (up to 20 mm)
• General light- to medium-duty fastening and assembly
• Working in confined spaces or on ladders where a compact pistol grip is advantageous
• Jobsite tasks requiring cordless mobility

Key specifications

• Tool type: pistol grip drill with brushless motor
• Weight: approx. 1.7 kg (without battery)
• Chuck capacity: 1.3 cm (keyless)
• Maximum no-load speed: 2000 RPM
• Rated voltage: 18 V (Lithium Polymer battery system)
• Recommended drilling capacity in wood: up to 20 mm

How to use

Install a compatible 1.3 cm drill bit into the keyless chuck and tighten by hand until secure. Select the appropriate speed and torque settings according to the material being drilled. Hold the pistol grip drill firmly with both hands where possible, position the bit at the desired drilling point, and start at a low speed to establish the hole before increasing to higher RPM for faster drilling. For fastening tasks, switch to the correct clutch setting to avoid overdriving screws. Recharge or replace the 18 V battery pack according to the battery manufacturer’s instructions to maintain consistent performance.

Recommendations

Use appropriate personal protective equipment such as safety glasses and hearing protection. For extended drilling sessions in dense materials, allow intermittent cooling periods to prevent motor and bit overheating. Store the drill and battery in a dry environment and follow manufacturer guidance for battery charging and storage to maximize service life.
