Vŕtačka s pištoľovou rukoväťou Metabo SB 18 LTX BL I

The Metabo SB 18 LTX BL I is a cordless pistol grip drill designed for efficient drilling tasks in wood and light construction work. Equipped with a brushless motor and an 18 V battery platform, this drill delivers a maximum no-load speed of 2000 RPM and a compact chuck with 1.3 cm capacity. With a drilling capability of up to 6.8 cm in wood and a tool weight of approximately 1.8 kg, it combines portability with sufficient power for many on-site and workshop applications.

Advantages

The brushless motor provides improved efficiency and longer service life compared with brushed designs, while the cordless 18 V system enables flexible use without a power cable. The keyless chuck allows quick bit changes and secure clamping of drill bits up to 1.3 cm in diameter. The relatively low tool weight supports reduced operator fatigue during extended use, and the unit’s compact pistol grip design improves handling in confined spaces.

Suitable for

• Drilling holes in wood up to 6.8 cm deep
• General assembly and installation work on construction sites
• Home improvement and DIY projects requiring a portable drill
• Tasks requiring frequent bit changes and one-handed operation

Key specifications

• Power system: 18 V lithium-ion battery platform
• Motor type: brushless motor for higher efficiency
• Maximum no-load speed: 2000 RPM
• Chuck capacity: up to 1.3 cm (keyless)
• Maximum drilling depth in wood: up to 6.8 cm
• Weight: approximately 1.8 kg (tool only)

How to use

Fit a compatible 1.3 cm or smaller drill bit into the keyless chuck and tighten by hand until the bit is securely clamped. Select the appropriate speed setting or trigger pressure according to the material being drilled; use lower speeds for larger diameter bits and harder materials. Place the drill perpendicular to the work surface and apply steady pressure while drilling. After use, allow the drill to stop completely before removing the bit and store the tool and battery in a dry, temperature-stable location.

Recommendations

For longer battery runtime and consistent performance, use battery packs and chargers recommended for the same 18 V platform. When drilling deeper holes in wood, start with a pilot hole or incrementally increase depth to reduce bit binding. Wear appropriate eye and hearing protection during operation and follow routine tool maintenance such as cleaning vents and checking chuck tightness.
