How to use

Turn off the power at the circuit breaker before starting installation. Remove the existing switch cover and detach wiring from the old device, noting terminal positions. Mount the Busch-Jaeger switch into the standard single-module mounting box, connect the live and switched live conductors to the appropriate terminals, and secure the device to the box. Refit the cover plate and restore power. Operate the push-button to switch lighting circuits on and off; ensure wiring connections are tightened and insulated according to local electrical codes. If unsure about electrical work, consult a qualified electrician.

Recommendations

Use the switch only in dry indoor environments and within the voltage and current ratings of the building installation. Clean the plastic surface with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth; avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents. For safety and reliable performance, have installation and any maintenance carried out by a licensed electrician, and verify compatibility with existing frames and wiring before purchase.
