Watercool Heatkiller RAD 480-S — 480 mm tenký, čierna

Watercool Heatkiller RAD 480-S — 480mm slim, black is a slim 480 mm radiator designed for liquid cooling loops in desktop PCs and workstations. It offers a long-form cooling surface that accommodates multiple fans in a push, pull or mixed configuration. The slim profile makes it suitable for builds with limited thickness clearance while still providing effective heat transfer for CPUs, GPUs and other water-cooled components.

Advantages

The slim 480 mm design balances a large surface area with reduced thickness, allowing installation in enclosures where thicker radiators would not fit. Black finish and consistent channeling ensure uniform coolant flow across the core. Its construction supports the mounting of several fans to increase airflow and heat dissipation while keeping compatibility with common fan sizes and mounting patterns used in PC water-cooling systems.

Suitable for

• Custom liquid cooling loops in compact or mid-tower desktop PCs
• Workstations requiring extended radiator length but limited thickness
• Multi-component cooling setups that need several fans for higher airflow
• Systems combining CPU and GPU cooling in a single loop

Key specifications

• Form factor: 480 mm long-format slim radiator
• Thickness: slim profile designed for limited clearance installations
• Finish: black
• Fan compatibility: supports multiple standard fan mounts along the length
• Coolant flow: channelled design for uniform distribution across the core
• Application: designed for custom PC water-cooling loops for CPUs, GPUs and other components

How to use

Install the radiator in a suitable location within the PC chassis where length can be accommodated and thickness clearance is sufficient for the slim profile. Mount compatible fans to the radiator using the appropriate screws and recommended mounting pattern for push, pull or push–pull configurations. Connect the radiator to the rest of the loop with compatible fittings and tubing, ensuring secure and leak-free connections. Fill, bleed and pressure-test the loop according to standard liquid-cooling procedures before powering the system.

Recommendations

For optimal thermal performance, combine this slim 480 mm radiator with quality fans rated for static pressure, use appropriate coolant and fittings, and perform a full leak test after assembly. Ensure case airflow and component placement allow for effective intake and exhaust to maximize heat dissipation.
