Webcam Slide Cover Kit Lamptron LAMP-AP303, 3-dielny čierny

Lamptron LAMP-AP303 is a three-piece kit of black slide covers designed to physically block webcam lenses when privacy is required. Each cover is low-profile and mounts directly over a laptop, external webcam or monitor camera to provide a straightforward mechanical barrier against unwanted visual access. The sliding mechanism allows the camera to be uncovered quickly for calls or recordings and closed again for privacy without relying on software controls.

Advantages

These slide covers give an immediate, hardware-based method for securing your webcam that works independently of operating system settings or applications. The low-profile design minimizes interference with laptop lids and external camera housings while remaining durable for repeated sliding. As a three-piece kit, the set covers multiple devices or provides spares for different locations, offering a simple, reliable way to enhance personal or workplace privacy.

Suitable for

• Laptops with integrated webcams
• External USB webcams and conferencing cameras
• Desktop monitors with built-in cameras
• Home offices, shared workspaces, and public-use computers

Key specifications

• Quantity: 3 slide covers
• Color: Black
• Design: Low-profile sliding mechanism
• Mounting: Adhesive-backed attachment suitable for flat camera housings
• Compatibility: Fits a wide range of thin-bezel and standard camera modules

How to use

Clean the surface around the webcam to remove dust and oils, peel the adhesive backing from the slide cover, and align the cover so the sliding opening matches the camera lens. Press firmly to secure the cover in place and allow the adhesive to set according to ambient conditions. Slide the cover open when you need to use the camera and slide it closed to block the lens when not in use. The covers can remain attached long-term and are movable between devices if adhesive is replaced.

Recommendations

For best adhesion, apply the slide cover at room temperature to a clean, dry surface. Avoid placing the cover on highly curved or textured housings where the adhesive contact may be incomplete. Replace the adhesive or the cover if the sliding action becomes stiff or the attachment weakens over time.
