Nástenný montážny senzor Goobay čierny 96001

The Goobay Wall Mount Sensor Black (model 96001) is a passive infrared (PIR) motion detector designed for both indoor and outdoor use. It offers a 180-degree detection angle and a maximum detection range of up to 12 meters. With an IP44 rating and compact dimensions (72.7 mm width, 121 mm depth, 81.8 mm height), the sensor is suitable for use with LED lighting and connects to standard AC mains (220–240 V). Power consumption in standby is 0.44 W.

Advantages

The PIR technology provides reliable motion detection for people and animals in low-light conditions or twilight. A wide 180° coverage and 12 m range allow flexible placement for corridors, entrances and outdoor areas. IP44 protection ensures basic resistance to splashing water and dust, while compatibility with LED lighting and low standby power consumption support energy-efficient installations.

Suitable for

• Entranceways and porches
• Garage and driveway areas
• Hallways and stairwells
• Outdoor paths and terraces (sheltered locations)
• Lighting control for LED fixtures

How to use

Mount the sensor on a wall at the recommended height (typically 1.8–2.5 m) to achieve optimal coverage; avoid pointing it directly at heat sources or reflective surfaces. Connect the device to the AC mains (220–240 V) following local electrical regulations and the manufacturer’s wiring instructions. Adjust the sensor position so the 180° detection field covers the intended area; test detection by walking through the coverage zone and verifying the connected lighting switches on as expected.

Recommendations

For reliable outdoor operation, install the sensor in a sheltered location to minimize direct exposure to heavy rain or strong winds. Regularly check the mounting and clean the sensor lens from dust and debris. If used with LED fixtures, verify compatibility and any required load or driver recommendations from the light manufacturer.
