Sieťový kábel Goobay 55141 10m Cat8.1 S/FTP

The Goobay 55141 is a 10 m Cat8.1 S/FTP networking cable with RJ-45 connectors and gold-plated contacts. Designed for up to 2 GHz transmission performance, this cable supports 25/40GBASE-T applications and provides higher bandwidth compared with Cat6A. Its grey jacket and shielded construction aim to reduce interference and maintain stable high-speed data transfer for demanding network environments.

Advantages

The S/FTP shielding combines an overall foil shield with individually foil‑shielded pairs to minimise crosstalk and external electromagnetic interference. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts improve corrosion resistance and signal reliability. With a 10 m length and Cat8.1 specification, the cable is suitable for short-run high-bandwidth connections requiring low latency and high throughput.

Suitable for

• 25GBASE-T and 40GBASE-T network links
• High-speed LAN connections for gaming and streaming
• Server racks and switch-to-switch short connections
• Professional workstations and data transfer tasks

Key specifications

• Standard: Cat8.1
• Length: 10 m
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall foil + individually shielded pairs)
• Connector: RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts
• Transmission bandwidth: up to 2 GHz
• Applications: 25/40GBASE-T
• Color: Grey
• Brand / MPN / EAN: WENTRONIC / 55141 / 4040849551413

How to use

Connect one end of the RJ-45 plug to your network device (switch, router, server or network card) and the other end to the corresponding port. Ensure connectors are fully inserted and routed to avoid sharp bends; maintain recommended bend radii to prevent signal degradation. For 25/40GBASE-T operation, verify that connected equipment supports these standards and configure link speeds as required.

Recommendations

Use this Cat8.1 S/FTP cable for short-distance high-bandwidth links within racks or between nearby network devices. Avoid running the cable parallel to strong electrical power lines to reduce potential interference and ensure optimal performance.
