Sieťový kábel Goobay 95515 purpurový 5 m Cat6 S/FTP

The Goobay 95515 Magenta networking cable is a 5 m Cat6 S/FTP patch cable with RJ-45 connectors and gold-plated contacts. Designed for structured cabling, this cable supports fast Ethernet connections with data transfer rates up to 1000 Mbit/s and offers shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference. The magenta sheath provides a distinctive appearance while the cable construction focuses on consistent signal quality and reliable plug fit for home and small office networks.

Advantages

The S/FTP construction combines an overall braided shield with individually foiled pairs to minimize crosstalk and external interference, supporting stable transmission at Cat6 performance levels. Gold-plated contacts improve long-term contact reliability and corrosion resistance, while the RJ-45 connectors ensure secure and precise mating with network ports. The 5 m length gives flexibility for typical desk-to-switch or patch panel connections without excess slack.

Suitable for

• Connecting PCs, printers and network devices to switches or routers
• Patch panel to switch cabling in small office or home network racks
• Structured cabling runs where reduced interference and clear cable identification are needed

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6 (S/FTP)
• Length: 5 m
• Connector type: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Contact plating: gold-plated contacts
• Shielding: overall braided shield plus foil around each pair
• Maximum supported data rate: up to 1000 Mbit/s
• Color: magenta

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 connector to the network port of your device and the other end to a router, switch or wall socket. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to guarantee a secure electrical connection. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and sharp edges that can damage the sheath or internal pairs. For best performance, keep the cable separate from mains power cables and strong electromagnetic sources.

Recommendations

For reliable Cat6 performance, avoid kinking the cable and maintain a bend radius of at least four times the cable diameter. Use the 5 m length for typical desktop or patch panel connections; for longer runs within structured cabling, select appropriately rated permanent link or stranded cables. Regularly inspect connectors for dust or damage and replace the cable if physical wear compromises shielding or contacts.
