Sieťový kábel Goobay CAT 6 pre vonkajšie použitie S/FTP 100 m čierny

The Goobay Network Cable CAT 6 outdoor S/FTP 100m in black is a weather-resistant Ethernet cable designed for outdoor installations. It features S/FTP shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference and supports high-speed data transmission over a 100 m length. The polyethylene sheath provides resistance to weathering and UV radiation, making the cable suitable for exposed locations such as gardens, façades and surveillance camera connections.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding minimises crosstalk and external interference for stable signal quality. The polyethylene outer jacket is highly resistant to weathering and UV exposure, extending service life in outdoor conditions. A 100 m length covers long runs without additional joins, and the black colour gives a discreet appearance for installations on façades or in planted areas.

Suitable for

• Outdoor network runs in gardens and yards
• Temporary or long-term camping site network connections
• Exterior building façades and routed outdoor cabling
• Connecting outdoor surveillance cameras and security equipment

How to use

Measure the required run length and route the cable along the planned path, avoiding sharp bends and sources of mechanical damage. For fixed outdoor installations, secure the cable with appropriate clips or conduit and ensure connections are made with suitable RJ45 connectors or outdoor-rated junction boxes as needed. When terminating, maintain the shielding continuity and follow standard wiring schemes for CAT 6 to preserve performance.

Recommendations

For long-term outdoor exposure, install the cable out of direct contact with standing water and, where possible, use additional conduit or trunking for mechanical protection. Test the link after termination to verify signal integrity and compliance with required network speeds.
