Sieťový kábel Goobay RJ-45 CAT6a 0,5 m žltý

The Goobay RJ-45 CAT6a networking cable, 0.5 m long in yellow, is a flat U/UTP patch cable designed for easy installation in tight spaces such as under laminate flooring or along walls and in wall connectors. It conforms to the Cat6a standard and provides a compact, low-profile connection with molded RJ-45 plugs and gold-plated contacts for reliable signal transmission.

Advantages

This flat CAT6a cable has a slim outer dimension of approximately 1.6 mm x 6 mm, a low bending radius and a slimline strain relief that makes it easy to route in confined spaces. The cable is simple to mark or superscribe and the molded connectors with strain relief and gold-plated contacts improve durability and connection quality. The yellow color helps visual identification in home or office networks.

Suitable for

• Home networking where cables must be routed under flooring or along skirting boards
• Office patching and short patch runs between devices and patch panels
• Installations that require low-profile cabling and easy visual identification

Key specifications

• Length: 0.5 m
• Standard: Cat6a
• Shielding: U/UTP (unshielded twisted pair with overall foil not indicated; use as provided)
• Connector: RJ-45 on both ends, molded with strain relief
• Contacts: Gold-plated
• Outer dimensions: approx. 1.6 mm x 6 mm (flat profile)
• Color: Yellow

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to your network device (switch, router, PC) and the other end to the corresponding port on the patch panel or wall connector. Route the flat cable along skirting boards or under laminate flooring, avoiding sharp bends that exceed the cable's low bending radius. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until they click for secure contact.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, keep the cable length within recommended short patch distances for Cat6a in patching scenarios and avoid running the cable parallel to power lines to reduce interference. Use the cable's slim profile to conceal it under flooring or along edges, and check connectors for firm seating to maintain reliable connections.
