Sieťový kábel Goobay RJ-45 CAT6a 2m

The Goobay RJ-45 CAT6a 2m networking cable (WENTRONIC, MPN 96317, EAN 4040849963179) is a flat U/UTP patch cable designed for high-speed data transmission over short to medium distances. With a 2 m length and slim profile, the cable is suitable for neat installations under laminate, along skirting boards or behind furniture. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts and a molded connector with strain relief ensure reliable signal contact and mechanical durability.

Advantages

The flat CAT6a cable has an outer dimension of approximately 1.6 mm x 6 mm and a low bending radius for flexible routing in tight spaces. Its slim-line strain relief reduces stress at the connector, while the gold-plated contacts improve corrosion resistance and contact quality. The cable is easy to mark for identification and is compatible with standard patch panels and wall connectors.

Suitable for

• Home and small office Ethernet connections
• Running under laminate, along skirting boards or behind furniture
• Connecting network devices to patch panels and wall sockets
• Structured cabling where low-profile cable routing is required

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 connector to your network device (PC, switch, router) and the other to the destination port or patch panel. Route the flat cable along the chosen path, keeping bends gentle where possible to maintain signal integrity. Use the molded strain relief at the connectors to avoid sharp bends at the termination points. Label the cable if multiple runs are installed.

Recommendations

For best results, avoid tight kinks and excessive mechanical stress. When routing under flooring or along baseboards, ensure the cable is not trapped by heavy furniture and keep it away from high-voltage power lines to minimize interference.
