XLR spojka ShiverPeaks BS55071 — konektor samica na konektor samica audio adaptér

The ShiverPeaks BS55071 XLR coupling is a female-to-female audio connector adapter designed to join two XLR cables and extend balanced microphone or line-level connections. It provides a simple mechanical and electrical connection between XLR male ends to maintain signal continuity in professional audio systems. The compact metal housing and standard three-pin XLR interface make it suitable for use in live sound, studio recording and broadcast installations where reliable, low-noise interconnection is required.

Advantages

This female-to-female XLR adapter offers a straightforward, tool-free solution for extending XLR runs and joining cables without re-terminating connectors. The adapter maintains the balanced signal path and physical alignment of XLR connections, reducing the risk of poor contact and intermittent signal loss. Its robust construction supports repeated use in field conditions while keeping electrical continuity and shielding integrity for microphone and line-level audio signals.

Suitable for

• Extending microphone cables on stage or in rehearsals
• Joining line-level XLR connections in studio patching
• Temporary joins during live events or broadcasts
• Cable management and quick fixes in audio installations

Key specifications

• Connection type: female-to-female XLR, three-pin
• Signal type: balanced audio for microphone and line level
• Housing: metal casing for mechanical durability and shielding
• Contact material: standard XLR contact finish for reliable conductivity
• Mounting: inline coupling for cable-to-cable join

How to use

To use the XLR coupling, align each male XLR connector with the female ends of the adapter and insert until the latch engages. Ensure correct orientation of the three-pin alignment to maintain proper polarity and phase of the balanced signal. For removal, depress the connector latches and pull the connectors straight out to avoid bending pins. Inspect contacts and housings regularly for dirt or damage to preserve signal quality.

Recommendations

For best results, use the adapter to create short, temporary extensions rather than permanent joins; if a permanent length is required, consider re-terminating cables. Keep the coupling dry and clean, avoid excessive twisting or strain on cable joints, and verify continuity with an audio tester after installation in critical signal paths.
