Záhradná motyka Fiskars L5 91 cm Isocore násada 1020166

The Fiskars Pick L5 with a 36-inch Isocore handle is a heavy-duty gardening pick designed to break compacted soil, dig trenches and perform ground preparation tasks. The tool combines a hardened steel head shaped for controlled impact with a long Isocore handle that reduces vibration and provides a secure, comfortable grip during extended use. Engineered for durability, the pick is suitable for garden and landscaping work as well as light construction tasks that require leverage and repeatable striking force.

Advantages

The Isocore handle integrates a shock-absorbing core and a rigid outer sleeve to minimize hand and arm fatigue while maintaining strength for levering and impact. The head is heat-treated for wear resistance and retains a sharp striking edge for efficient soil penetration. The 36-inch length increases reach and mechanical advantage, allowing more force with reduced effort and improved ergonomic posture during digging and prying operations.

Suitable for

• Breaking hard, compacted or rocky soil
• Digging narrow trenches for irrigation or cables
• Removing roots, sod and small stumps
• Landscaping tasks requiring controlled impact
• Light construction and site-preparation work

Key specifications

• Overall length: 36 inches (long handle for reach and leverage)
• Handle type: Isocore shock-absorbing composite handle
• Head material: Hardened steel for impact and wear resistance
• Head design: Pointed pick for penetrating compacted ground
• Grip: Ergonomic outer sleeve for secure handling

How to use

Position the pick so the pointed end contacts the soil where breaking or trenching is required. Hold the Isocore handle with both hands spaced to control the swing and leverage; use the long handle to generate controlled strikes while keeping a steady stance. After initial penetration, lever the head to loosen and lift broken soil or roots. For trenching, work along the desired line with repeated, controlled strikes to achieve consistent depth and width. Inspect the head and handle before each use to ensure they are secure and undamaged.

Recommendations

Wear appropriate personal protective equipment such as gloves and eye protection when using the pick. Use steady, controlled motions rather than excessive force to reduce risk of rebound. Store the tool in a dry place and remove soil or debris from the head after use to prevent corrosion and prolong service life.
