Základňa s U-skrutkou na riadidlá RAM Mounts RAM-B-231ZU

The RAM-B-231ZU Handlebar U-Bolt Base from RAM Mounts is a mounting base that uses a B-size 1" rubber ball set at a right angle to the mounting rail. The zinc-coated metal u-bolt accepts tubular rails with diameters from 0.5" to 1.25" and includes a composite adapter to reduce the effective rail width to a minimum of 0.5". Black cover caps are supplied to conceal the exposed ends of the u-bolt. The base is black, weighs approximately 0.13 kg and is intended to provide a stable attachment point for compatible RAM mounting arms and device holders.

Advantages

The u-bolt base provides a secure, right-angle mounting interface using the standard 1" rubber ball for compatibility with the RAM arm ecosystem. Zinc coating on the metal u-bolt improves corrosion resistance for outdoor use, while the composite adapter expands compatibility to narrower rails. Included black cover caps protect and finish the exposed u-bolt ends for a cleaner installation.

Suitable for

• Handlebars and tubular rails with diameters 0.5"–1.25"
• Bicycles, motorcycles, scooters and similar vehicles
• Mounting RAM arms and device holders that use a 1" ball

Key specifications

• Manufacturer: RAM Mounts
• Model / MPN: RAM-B-231ZU
• Ball size: B (1" / 2.54 cm)
• Rail diameter range: 0.5" to 1.25" (adapter available to narrow to 0.5")
• Material: zinc-coated metal u-bolt, composite adapter, rubber ball
• Colour: Black
• Weight: 0.13 kg

How to use

Position the u-bolt around the handlebar or tubular rail and place the composite adapter if the rail requires narrowing. Align the 1" rubber ball at a right angle to the rail, then secure the u-bolt using the provided nuts. Attach the desired RAM arm or device holder to the 1" ball following the arm or holder manufacturer's instructions. Fit the black cover caps over the exposed u-bolt ends for protection.

Recommendations

Inspect mounting hardware periodically and retighten fasteners after initial use and at regular intervals. For applications exposed to moisture or salt, clean and inspect the zinc-coated u-bolt to maintain corrosion resistance. Use compatible RAM arms and holders specified for a 1" ball to ensure secure attachment.
