Suitable for

• Securing MacBook Pro 14" and 16" (2021–2024) at desks in offices
• Protecting laptops in cafes, libraries and co-working spaces
• Temporary anchoring of portable workstations in public areas
• Use in schools or training rooms where devices are left unattended

How to use

Loop the 2 m steel cable around a secure, immovable anchor point such as a desk leg or fixed fixture. Attach the lock head to the MacBook Pro’s security slot or corresponding adapter according to the device-specific connection method. Confirm the lock head is fully engaged and test that the cable and lock hold the laptop in place before leaving the device unattended. Keep any keys in a secure place and avoid forcing the lock mechanism.

Recommendations

For effective protection, select a fixed anchor point that cannot be easily removed or cut. Combine the physical cable lock with other security measures such as device tracking, user authentication, and secure storage to minimize theft risk. Regularly inspect the cable and lock mechanism for wear and replace if damage is detected.
