Why choose it

The DS3608-XR is engineered for maximum uptime in demanding industrial settings. Its extended range scanning allows workers to capture barcodes on high shelves or distant pallets without climbing or stretching, improving efficiency and safety. The rugged design resists dust, water, and repeated drops, reducing replacement costs. With native Siemens industrial Ethernet connectivity, integration into existing automation systems is seamless, eliminating the need for additional adapters or converters.

Ideal use cases

• Manufacturing: scanning components and finished goods on assembly lines
• Warehousing: reading barcodes on high racks and incoming shipments
• Logistics: tracking pallets and containers in distribution centers
• Automotive: identifying parts in harsh, oily environments
• Pharmaceutical: verifying labels in cleanrooms with IP67 protection

Good to know

The kit includes the DS3608-XR scanner and a straight industrial Ethernet cable, ready for immediate deployment. The scanner's 2D imager supports all common 1D and 2D symbologies, including Digimarc, ensuring compatibility with existing barcode standards. Its high-visibility aiming pattern and bright illumination enable accurate scanning even in low-light conditions. With a minimum print contrast of 15%, it reads faded or low-contrast barcodes with ease.
