Optimized for use with food products and in cold environments
With its all-temperature permanent rubber adhesive, these labels can be securely applied in temperatures as low as 0° C and will remain adhered in temperatures up from -40°C up to 50°C, making them perfect for use on assets in cold environments. The adhesive complies with European food regulation EC 1935/20004, EU 10/2011 and BfR Recommendation XXI for direct contact with dry and moist non-fatty foodstuffs. It also meets FDA 175.105 for direct contact with dry foodstuffs.

How to use

Load the roll into a compatible Zebra industrial or desktop direct thermal printer following the printer manufacturer’s instructions for media orientation and core size. Use printer settings optimized for direct thermal media to achieve the best print quality at speeds up to 152 mm/s. Apply printed labels to clean, dry surfaces and press firmly to ensure full contact of the adhesive. For chilled or frozen products, allow labels to reach application temperature when possible to maximize initial tack.

Recommendations

Store rolls in original packaging in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat sources. For long-term durability or exposure to harsh environments, consider testing the labels in your specific application; for labels requiring extended life or resistance to abrasion/chemicals, thermal transfer alternatives and protective topcoats may be more suitable.
