FEP-1601 is a 16-port 10/100Mbps Fast Ethernet Switch with integrated Power over Ethernet (PoE). Each of the 16 ports supports PoE and can be manually enabled or disabled via individual DIP switches. When a port's DIP switch is set to ON, that LAN port can supply up to 30 W. The switch also includes two dual-function 10/100Mbps uplink ports for connecting to other edge switches or an NVR. Using a compatible PoE repeater allows extending a PoE connection by an additional 100 meters or daisy-chaining repeaters to cover longer distances.

How to use

Install the switch in a standard 19-inch rack or place it on a flat surface. Connect network devices to the 16 PoE-enabled LAN ports. Set each port's DIP switch to ON to enable PoE power (up to 30 W) or to OFF to disable power delivery while maintaining data connectivity. Use the dual 10/100Mbps uplink ports to link the switch to an upstream switch or NVR. To extend PoE beyond 100 meters, connect a compatible PoE repeater to the PoE port and, if needed, chain additional repeaters according to the repeater manufacturer's instructions.
