The ACT 1.5m HDMI High Speed premium certified cable (v2.0) features HDMI Type A male connectors on both ends and a gold-plated connector for improved durability. It is certified to HDMI 2.0b specifications, supporting Ultra HD 4K (3840x2160) at 60Hz, Dolby Vision HDR, 4:4:4 chroma, and up to 18 Gbps data throughput while remaining backwards compatible with HDMI 1.4 and supporting Audio Return Channel (ARC). The cable's black finish suits TVs, projectors and gaming consoles.

Advantages

Premium HDMI certification means the cable is tested and verified by HDMI Authorized Test Centers for the full 18 Gbps bandwidth and EMI resilience; every length is individually tested and undergoes lifetime audit testing to maintain consistent production quality. The cable carries the official Premium HDMI Authentication Label with a hologram-protected QR code that can be scanned using the HDMI.org smartphone app to verify certification and product information.

How to use

Connect one HDMI Type A male end to the HDMI output of your source device (for example a Blu-ray player, console or set-top box) and the other end to the HDMI input on your display or AV receiver. If your display and source support ARC and you require audio return, connect the cable to the HDMI ARC-labelled port on the TV and the corresponding ARC port on the audio device. Use the HDMI smartphone scanning app to verify the premium authentication label if needed.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid tightly coiling the cable or running it parallel to high-power electrical cables to reduce EMI. When using longer runs or in-wall installations, ensure the installation complies with local building and fire codes and re-verify certification if using multiple cable segments.
