ACT 3 m vysokovýkonný VGA predlžovací kábel konektor samec-samica s kovovými krytmi

The ACT 3 metre High Performance VGA extension cable male-female provides a straightforward solution for extending VGA connections between a source device and a display. This black cable features a male to female VGA (D-Sub) connector configuration and a metal hood design that adds mechanical robustness and improved shielding. It is intended for extending existing VGA leads without altering signal format, supporting standard analogue video transmission for monitors, projectors and other VGA-capable displays.

Advantages

The cable’s male-to-female connection allows easy extension of an existing VGA lead without the need to replace original cables. A metal hood over the connector improves physical durability and offers extra protection against electromagnetic interference compared with unshielded housings. The 3 m length gives additional reach while maintaining a tidy installation in home, office or classroom setups. The black finish blends with most AV installations.

Suitable for

• Extending a monitor connection in an office workstation
• Connecting a laptop or PC to a projector for presentations
• Extending a VGA lead in home theatre or multimedia setups
• Temporary or permanent display connections where analogue VGA is required

Key specifications

• Cable length: 3 m
• Connector type: VGA (D-Sub) male to VGA (D-Sub) female
• Connector hood: metal design for improved durability and shielding
• Cable colour: black
• Signal type: analogue VGA video

How to use

Connect the male VGA plug to the VGA output on your source device or to the free end of an existing VGA cable, and attach the female end to the VGA input on the display device. Tighten the connector screws by hand to secure the connection; avoid overtightening. Ensure both devices are powered off when connecting or disconnecting to prevent wear on connectors. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and keep it away from high-power electrical cables to minimise potential interference.

Recommendations

For best analogue video quality, use the ACT VGA extension cable to extend short-to-moderate distances (such as 3 m increments) and avoid chaining many extensions where possible. If longer runs are required or if maximum image fidelity is essential, consider evaluating signal amplifiers or digital alternatives. Store the cable coiled without tight loops to preserve the internal conductors.
