ACT 3 metre LSZH multimódové 50/125 OM5 optické patch káble duplex s LC konektormi

The ACT OM5 Fiber Patch Cable Duplex LC Connectors 3 Meter is a multimode 50/125 fiber patch cord designed for indoor network links that require high-bandwidth transmission. This 3 m duplex cable uses OM5 multimode fiber with LC duplex connectors to provide reliable bidirectional data transfer. The cable jacket is made from LSZH material, which minimizes smoke and eliminates halogen emissions in case of fire, making it suitable for installations where reduced toxic and corrosive gases are required.

Advantages

The OM5 multimode construction with a 50 µm core supports wideband multimode performance and is compatible with standard multimode transceivers. Duplex LC connectors offer compact footprint and easy insertion into patch panels and transceivers. The LSZH jacket reduces smoke density and prevents halogen release, improving safety in enclosed or public spaces. A 3 meter length provides flexibility for rack-to-rack or equipment-to-equipment connections without excess cable slack.

Suitable for

• Data center horizontal and patching links
• Server-to-switch and switch-to-switch connections
• High-bandwidth enterprise LAN and campus backbone segments
• Indoor installations where low smoke zero halogen materials are required

Key specifications

• Fiber type: Multimode OM5 (50/125 µm)
• Connector type: Duplex LC to Duplex LC
• Length: 3 meters
• Jacket material: LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen)
• Mode: Duplex (full duplex capable)

How to use

Uncoil the ACT OM5 duplex patch cable and orient the LC connectors so the latch engages the port. Gently insert each LC connector into the corresponding LC duplex adapter or transceiver port until it clicks. For best performance, ensure connectors and ports are clean before mating. Route the cable to avoid tight bends that could exceed the recommended minimum bend radius for multimode fiber and secure it using appropriate cable management to prevent strain on the connectors.

Recommendations

The cable should be inspected and cleaned with suitable fiber cleaning tools before installation. Avoid kinking or sharp bends and maintain manufacturer-recommended bend radius. Use in indoor environments and comply with local fire-safety regulations when deploying LSZH-jacketed cabling.
