ACT 5 metrov Multimode 50/125 OM4 polarita B sklenené vlákno patch kábel s MTP konektormi samica

The ACT Fiber Patch Cable Multimode 50/125 OM4 5m Polarity B is a short-range multimode fiber assembly intended for high-density networking environments. It features OM4-grade 50/125 µm fiber for improved modal bandwidth and reduced attenuation compared with lower-grade multimode types. The cable is fitted with MTP female connectors and is configured in Polarity B to match systems that require cross-mating of fiber channels for correct channel alignment.

Advantages

This OM4 multimode cable provides enhanced bandwidth and lower insertion loss for short- to medium-distance links, supporting high-speed data center applications and enterprise networks. The MTP female connectors allow compact, high-fiber-count connections and facilitate rapid installation in patch panels and cassettes. Polarity B configuration simplifies integration into existing MPO/MTP wiring schemes that use reversed fiber order on one end.

Suitable for

• Data center patching and interconnects
• High-speed short-range links (10G/40G/100G within multimode reach)
• Patching between MTP/MPO cassettes and network equipment
• Enterprise backbone and server farm connectivity

Key specifications

• Fiber type: Multimode OM4
• Core/cladding diameter: 50/125 µm
• Connector type: MTP female to MTP female
• Polarity: B (reversed fiber order on one end)
• Length: 5 meters
• Typical application: Short- to medium-reach high-bandwidth links

How to use

Inspect both ends of the cable and the mating adapters for dust or damage before insertion. Align and insert the MTP female connectors into the corresponding MTP/MPO adapters or equipment ports until the connector latches. Confirm polarity B matching with the intended patching scheme to ensure correct channel mapping. Secure the cable using cable management in racks or trays to avoid excessive bending; maintain the minimum bend radius recommended for multimode fiber.

Recommendations

Use a fiber inspection microscope before connecting to active equipment and keep connectors capped when not in use. For optimal performance, avoid tight bends, maintain organized routing in patch panels, and follow standard multimode fiber handling procedures. Verify link performance after installation with appropriate optical test equipment.
