Ensure both devices are powered off before connecting. Align the DVI-I (24+5) male connectors with the DVI-I female ports on your source and display, then secure the thumbscrews to prevent movement. Power on the devices and configure the display resolution in the operating system or monitor settings as needed. For analog use, verify the connected devices support the analog signal through the DVI-I interface.

Recommendations

Route the cable away from large power supplies or wireless transmitters to minimise interference. Tighten connector thumbscrews without over-torquing. If you experience signal issues, check connector seating and try shorter cable runs where possible.
