ACT ivory 15 metrov SF/UTP CAT5E patch kábel snagless s RJ45 konektormi

The ACT Ivory 15 meter SF/UTP CAT5E patch cable is a 15 m network cable with RJ‑45 connectors designed for reliable Ethernet connections. Built to support Cat5e performance, this ivory-coloured cable features snagless RJ45 plugs and gold‑plated contacts to maintain stable signal transmission. The S/FTP (shielded/foiled twisted pair) construction provides improved protection against electromagnetic interference compared to unshielded alternatives, making the cable suitable for structured cabling in home and office environments.

Advantages

The cable combines Cat5e performance with S/FTP shielding to reduce near‑end crosstalk and external interference, helping to preserve signal integrity over the 15 m length. Snagless RJ‑45 connectors protect the plug latch during installation and removal, while gold‑plated contacts improve corrosion resistance and ensure consistent electrical contact. The ivory jacket offers a neutral appearance for visible installations and easy visual identification among other cables.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop PCs, printers and networked devices to switches and routers
• Home networking and small office LAN wiring
• Patching between patch panels and network equipment in wiring closets
• Temporary connections for events or testing where a 15 m reach is required

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat5e
• Length: 15 m
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid or foil with individually shielded pairs)
• Connectors: RJ‑45 to RJ‑45, snagless design
• Contact plating: Gold‑plated contacts
• Colour: Ivory

How to use

Plug one RJ‑45 connector into the network interface of your device and the other into a switch, router, patch panel or wall socket. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to secure the connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends or tight cable ties that could damage the pairs or compromise shielding. For permanent installations, verify cable runs and terminations with appropriate network testing equipment to confirm signal performance.

Recommendations

For best results, avoid running the cable in parallel with power lines or near sources of strong electromagnetic interference. Use appropriate cable management to reduce mechanical stress and maintain the 15 m run within recommended bend radius limits. When connecting equipment in environments with significant interference, consider using shielded patch panels and properly grounding the cable system.
