ACT ivory 20 metrov SF/UTP CAT5E patch kábel snagless s RJ45 konektormi

The ACT Ivory 20m SF/UTP CAT5E patch cable with RJ45 connectors is a 20-metre network cable designed for structured cabling and device interconnection. Constructed with SF/UTP shielding, the cable reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk to maintain stable data transmission. Gold-plated RJ45 connectors and a snagless design provide secure mating and protect the connectors and locking tab during installation and removal. The ivory-coloured jacket offers a neutral appearance suitable for home or office environments.

Advantages

The SF/UTP shielding provides improved protection against external interference compared with unshielded alternatives, helping to preserve signal integrity in environments with multiple electronic devices. The CAT5E specification supports high-speed data transmission for common Ethernet applications. Gold-plated RJ45 contacts enhance conductivity and resist corrosion, while the snagless boots protect the connector clip from catching during routing and patching.

Key specifications

• Cable type: SF/UTP (shielded foil with unshielded twisted pairs)
• Performance category: CAT5E
• Length: 20 m
• Connectors: RJ45 to RJ45, gold-plated contacts
• Design: Snagless boots to protect connector clips
• Jacket colour: Ivory

How to use

Route the cable between network equipment, inserting each RJ45 connector fully into the corresponding port until the latch clicks. Avoid bending the cable sharply near the connectors and maintain a gentle bend radius along the run to prevent damage to internal pairs. When installing alongside power cables or inside conduit, maintain recommended separation distances to preserve shielding effectiveness. For patch panel installations, ensure the connector aligns with the panel port and that the snagless boot clears adjacent ports.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use the cable within standard CAT5E environments and avoid running it parallel to high-voltage power lines for extended distances. Inspect connectors before use and replace the cable if the jacket or connectors show visible damage. For installations requiring higher bandwidth or future-proofing, consider higher-category cables where appropriate.
