ACT ivory 5 metrov SF/UTP CAT5E patch kábel s ochranou západky s RJ45 konektormi

The ACT Ivory 5 meter SF/UTP CAT5E patch cable is designed for reliable high-speed data transmission between network devices. This 5 m white cable features RJ45 connectors on both ends and a snagless design that reduces the risk of connector latch damage during installation. Its SF/UTP shielding construction provides protection against electromagnetic interference, making the cable suitable for typical home and office networking environments where stable Gigabit-capable connections are required.

Advantages

The cable's snagless RJ45 connectors help prevent accidental tab breakage and simplify routing behind equipment. With a 5 meter length, it offers flexibility for connecting devices across desks, racks, or office layouts without excessive slack. The SF/UTP CAT5E construction balances performance and cost, delivering consistent data transmission and improved resistance to external interference compared with unshielded cables. The white color provides a low-visibility option that integrates into most interiors.

Suitable for

• Connecting computers, switches and routers in home networks
• Office desk and workstation cabling
• Temporary or permanent connections in small server rooms
• Patch panel to switch connections in structured cabling

Key specifications

• Category: CAT5E
• Shielding: SF/UTP (shielded foil with unshielded twisted pairs)
• Connector type: RJ45 to RJ45
• Cable length: 5 m
• Color: White

How to use

Insert each RJ45 connector into the corresponding Ethernet port until the latch clicks into place. Ensure cable routing avoids sharp bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference. For patch panels or keystone jacks, align the connector and press firmly until secured. When disconnecting, press the release tab on the snagless connector to avoid damaging the latch. Regularly inspect connectors and cable sheathing for wear if the cable is moved frequently.

Recommendations

For optimal signal integrity, avoid running the cable parallel and close to mains power cables or large electrical equipment. Use cable management accessories to maintain gentle bend radii and reduce mechanical stress on the connectors. For installations requiring higher shielding or performance, consider evaluating higher category cables as needed.
