The ACT Orange 20 meter U/UTP CAT5E RJ45 patch cable is a 20 m network cable designed for Ethernet connections. It features RJ45 connectors with gold-plated contacts and an orange PVC sheath (RAL 2000). The cable uses AWG#24 conductors and is specified for 100 MHz bandwidth, suitable for standard CAT5E networking installations.

Advantages

This CAT5E patch cable provides reliable signal transmission through gold-plated RJ45 contacts and a U/UTP design. The 20 m length enables flexible placement of network equipment, while the bright orange PVC sheath improves visibility and cable management. The AWG#24 conductors and 100 MHz rating meet common requirements for fast Ethernet connections.

Suitable for

• Wired Ethernet connections (CAT5E)
• Home and office network patching
• Cable management where colour-coded identification is needed
• Connecting routers, switches, NAS and other network devices

How to use

Connect one RJ45 end to your network device (router, switch, computer) and the other end to the corresponding port on the remote device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until they click to secure the connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and excessive tension; the PVC sheath protects the cable but do not expose it to prolonged UV or solvents.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, keep the cable length within the specified 20 m and avoid tight coiling or sharp bends. Use the orange colour for easy identification in patch panels and cable runs. Verify device network settings and test connectivity after installation.
