ACT sivý 4 metre U/UTP CAT6A patch kábel s ochranou západky s RJ45 konektormi

The ACT Grey 4 meter U/UTP CAT6A patch cable is a shielded Ethernet cable designed for high-speed network connections over a 4 m run. It features snagless RJ-45 connectors with gold-plated contacts and U/UTP construction that helps reduce external interference while maintaining compatibility with standard RJ-45 ports. The cable supports gigabit Ethernet signaling and is intended for structured cabling, patch panels, switches and endpoints in home and office networks.

Advantages

The cable's U/UTP construction provides a layer of overall shielding to limit electromagnetic interference without requiring individually shielded pairs, preserving flexibility for typical installation scenarios. Gold-plated contacts on the RJ-45 plugs ensure reliable electrical contact and corrosion resistance over time. The snagless connector design protects the plug latch during insertion and removal, reducing the risk of damage in dense cable environments. The 4 m length offers a balance between reach and manageable cable routing for desks, racks and network furniture.

Suitable for

• Connecting computers, switches and routers within offices or homes
• Patch panel to switch connections in wiring closets
• Desktop workstations and telecommunication cabinets
• High-bandwidth applications requiring CAT6A performance over short to medium runs

Key specifications

• Length: 4 m
• Category: CAT6A
• Shielding: U/UTP (overall shield)
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45, snagless design
• Contacts: gold-plated
• Cabling technology: 10/100/1000Base-T(X)
• Colour: Grey

How to use

Ensure both devices to be connected are powered off or operating according to manufacturer recommendations. Insert each RJ-45 plug fully into the device's Ethernet port until the latch engages. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference such as large transformers or unshielded power cables. For installations in racks or cable trays, secure the cable with appropriate ties or organizers while maintaining bend radius and without compressing the overall shield.

Recommendations

Use the ACT CAT6A patch cable for short-to-medium length connections where reduced interference and reliable gigabit performance are required; avoid running the cable in parallel with high-voltage power lines and follow standard cabling practices for bend radius and strain relief to preserve performance.
