ACT žltý 3 metre LSZH U/FTP CAT6A DataCenter Slimline patch kábel snagless s RJ45 konektormi

Patch Cable ACT Yellow 3 meter LSZH U/FTP CAT6A is a slimline datacenter Ethernet patch cord with a 3.8 mm diameter conductor assembly and U/FTP shielding. The cable has snagless RJ45 connectors with gold-plated contacts and an LSZH jacket for reduced smoke and toxic emissions in case of fire. Its reduced diameter and lower bending radius improve airflow and allow denser cabling in cabinets while supporting CAT6A performance for high-speed networking.

Advantages

The slimline construction decreases overall cable diameter compared with regular CAT6A patch cords, improving airflow in cabinets and simplifying routing in tight spaces. U/FTP shielding reduces electromagnetic interference for more reliable data transmission. The LSZH jacket enhances safety characteristics, and the snagless RJ45 plugs with gold-plated contacts ensure secure connections and corrosion resistance.

Suitable for

• Datacenter patching and high-density racks
• High-speed 10 Gigabit Ethernet links within patching environments
• Environments requiring LSZH materials for reduced smoke and toxicity
• Short permanent link lengths where slim 32 AWG patch cords are acceptable

Key specifications

• Standard: CAT6A U/FTP
• Cable length: 3 m
• Diameter: slimline approx. 3.8 mm (manufacturer comparison vs 5.9 mm regular)
• Conductors: fine gauge (32 AWG typical for slimline cords; higher attenuation than 24 AWG)
• Connectors: RJ45 snagless, gold-plated contacts
• Jacket: LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen)
• Colour: Yellow
• Brand / MPN / EAN: ACT / DC7803 / 8716065442267

How to use

Install the ACT Yellow 3 m LSZH U/FTP CAT6A patch cable between RJ45 ports in patch panels, switches, or network devices. Route the slimline cable along existing cable pathways, avoid sharp bends beyond the cable's bending radius, and ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch engages. For permanent link planning, account for the higher attenuation of slim 32 AWG cords by keeping permanent link lengths shorter than when using standard 24 AWG patch cords.

Recommendations

For Power over Ethernet (PoE) deployments, limit bundle sizes to a maximum of 24 slimline cables to prevent excessive temperature rise. This aligns with ANSI TSB-184-A guidance to keep the center cable temperature increase below 15 °C above ambient. Where longer permanent links or larger bundles are required, consider standard-gauge patch cords (e.g., 24 AWG) to reduce attenuation and temperature rise.
