For computers and consoles, the drive will typically be recognized automatically; follow on-screen prompts if any formatting or driver actions are required. For iPhone models that support external storage or direct recording (such as Apple ProRes on compatible high-end iPhones), connect the SC740 via a compatible adapter or cable and select the drive in the recording or file-transfer app. Safely eject the drive from the host device before disconnecting.

Recommendations

Use the SC740 for temporary on-the-go storage and fast transfers; keep backups of irreplaceable data on multiple devices. Avoid exposing the drive to prolonged moisture, extreme temperatures or strong impacts despite its MIL-STD rating. Format the drive to the preferred file system for your primary host OS if you require compatibility across different platforms.
