ADATA SD810 500 GB USB Type-C USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 čierna, strieborná

The ADATA SD810 is a 500 GB external SSD with a USB Type-C connector and USB 3.2 Gen2 x2 interface, offering read/write speeds up to 2000 MB/s. Housed in an aluminium alloy case in silver and black, the compact drive combines high transfer performance with improved heat dissipation and portable dimensions suitable for creators, photographers, gamers, and mobile professionals.

Advantages

The SD810 delivers very high transfer speeds—up to 2000 MB/s—making it suitable for editing large video files or handling high-resolution photo libraries directly from the drive. Its aluminium housing enhances thermal stability during continuous use, while IP68 water- and dust-resistance and MIL-STD-810G 516.6 impact protection provide robust physical protection. The small, lightweight design and Type-C connectivity ensure broad compatibility across Windows, macOS, Android and other systems.

Suitable for

• Video editing and large media file workflow
• Professional and enthusiast photography file storage and access
• Expanding game libraries for modern consoles
• Portable backups and on-the-go file transfers

Key specifications

• Capacity: 500 GB
• Interface: USB Type-C, USB 3.2 Gen2 x2
• Maximum read/write speed: up to 2000 MB/s
• Housing material: aluminium alloy (silver, black)

How to use

Connect the SD810 to a host device using the USB Type-C port and a compatible cable. For best performance, connect to a USB 3.2 Gen2 x2 capable port; the drive remains compatible with other USB-C ports but may operate at lower speeds. Use your operating system’s file manager to copy, edit or run files directly from the drive. No special drivers are required for common systems such as Windows, macOS and Android.

Recommendations

To maintain peak performance, allow ventilation around the aluminium housing during sustained transfers and connect to a USB 3.2 Gen2 x2 port when available. Although the drive is rated IP68 and meets MIL-STD-810G, avoid unnecessary exposure to extreme conditions and back up critical data to an additional location.
