The EINHELL Power X-Change GC-CT 18/2411 Li P-Solo is a cordless grass trimmer that operates on the 18 V Power X-Change system. Supplied without battery and charger, this compact red and black unit is designed for trimming lawn edges and maintaining small grassy areas. Its lightweight construction and ergonomic shape provide good maneuverability for edging, tidying and regular garden maintenance tasks where a battery-powered solution is preferred.

Advantages

The trimmer delivers cordless freedom and simple handling thanks to the 18 V Power X-Change compatibility, allowing use with a family of batteries across compatible garden tools. Its compact design makes it easy to reach narrow or awkward areas while the lightweight build reduces user fatigue during extended use. The device is suitable for precise edging and light trimming jobs without the need for fuel or mains power.

Suitable for

• Trimming lawn edges along paths and driveways
• Tidying small lawns, borders and between paving stones
• Maintenance of suburban gardens and small outdoor spaces
• Users who already own Power X-Change batteries and chargers

Key specifications

• Power system: 18 V Power X-Change compatible (battery and charger not included)
• Application: Cordless grass trimming and edging for small areas
• Design: Compact, lightweight body in red and black
• Operation: Handheld with ergonomic grip for maneuverability
• Intended use: Residential garden maintenance and precision edging

How to use

Install a fully charged compatible 18 V Power X-Change battery according to the battery manufacturer’s instructions and ensure the battery latch is engaged. Hold the trimmer with both hands, keeping a firm but relaxed grip, and position the cutting head at the desired angle to the grass edge. Move the tool in a steady sweeping motion along the border or area to be trimmed. For best results, work at a consistent speed and avoid forcing the trimmer through very dense or thick vegetation. Switch off and remove the battery before making any adjustments, cleaning, or storing the tool.

Recommendations

Use standard Power X-Change batteries that match the required capacity for the intended runtime; higher-capacity batteries extend operating time for larger or multiple areas. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment such as eye protection and closed footwear while operating the trimmer. Regularly check the cutting head and replace worn components following the manufacturer's guidance to maintain cutting performance and safe operation.
