Mikrofón Aston Microphones Swift Shock Mount 000-F8700-00010

The Aston Microphones Swift Shock Mount reduces unwanted vibrations and handling noise to improve recording clarity. Designed for reliable isolation, the shock mount supports a range of microphone sizes through an adjustable design and solid construction. It is suitable for both studio and live environments where consistent, low-noise performance is required.

Advantages

The Swift Shock Mount provides mechanical isolation that minimizes rumble and transient handling noises transmitted through stands and booms. Its robust build offers long-term durability while the adjustable clamping system accommodates different microphone diameters and shapes. Installation and repositioning are straightforward, enabling fast setup for recording, broadcast, or live sound applications.

Suitable for

• Studio vocal and instrument recording
• Broadcast and podcast setups
• Live sound and stage use
• Location recording where stand-borne vibrations are present

Key specifications

• Adjustable mounting to fit a range of microphone diameters
• Mechanical isolation system to reduce handling and stand vibrations
• Durable construction for frequent use
• Compatibility with standard microphone stands and boom arms
• Lightweight design for easy positioning

How to use

Attach the shock mount to a standard microphone stand or boom arm using the built-in threaded adapter. Insert the microphone into the mount and adjust the clamp to secure the microphone body without over-tightening. Position the microphone as required and make fine adjustments to ensure the isolation elements are effective at reducing handling noise. For best results, check microphone alignment and cable routing to avoid contact that could bypass the mount's isolation.

Recommendations

Use the Swift Shock Mount with properly balanced microphone clips and secure cable management. Avoid overtightening the clamp to prevent damage to the microphone casing. For live or mobile setups, periodically check the mount's fittings to maintain optimal isolation performance.
