Audio kábel WENTRONIC Goobay 65291 — 2×RCA samec na 2×RCA samec, 0,5 m, meď, pozlátené kontakty, magneticky tienený

WENTRONIC Goobay 65291 is a 0.5 m stereo audio cable with 2×RCA male connectors on both ends designed for short interconnections between consumer audio components. The conductor uses copper (AWG 28) and the connector contacts are gold-plated to improve contact reliability and resist corrosion. The cable body is magnetically shielded to reduce interference and maintain clear analogue signals when connecting CD players, DACs, amplifiers, TVs, subwoofers and other devices with RCA jacks. The Goobay Plus series features a slim metal plug design in sharkskin grey and a compact length suitable for close equipment placement.

Advantages

The magnetically shielded construction lowers electromagnetic interference for more consistent left/right channel separation, while gold-plated contacts offer enhanced conductivity and longer service life compared with untreated contacts. Its 0.5 m length minimises signal loss on short runs and reduces cable clutter behind audio racks. Slim metal plugs with bend protection and a textile-covered cable provide mechanical robustness for frequent plugging and handling without damaging sensitive surfaces.

Suitable for

• Connecting CD players, DACs or Blu‑ray players to amplifiers or receivers
• Hooking subwoofers or bass boxes to AV receivers and stereo systems
• Short-run connections between TVs and external audio sources
• Portable or desktop hi‑fi setups and mixing console inputs

Key specifications

• Connector type: 2×RCA male — 2×RCA male
• Cable length: 0.5 m
• Conductor material: copper (AWG 28)
• Contact plating: gold-plated contacts
• Shielding: magnetic shielding to reduce interference
• Exterior: slim metal plugs, bend protection, textile-covered cable
• Colour: sharkskin grey / silver with black accents; standard RCA colour coding for channels

How to use

Ensure both devices are powered off before connecting. Match the RCA plug colours to the corresponding input and output jacks (typically red = right channel, white = left channel) and insert the plugs fully until they seat. For subwoofer connections, use the dedicated low‑level input on the subwoofer or receiver. After connection, power on the devices and select the appropriate input source on the amplifier, receiver or TV. Keep the cable length short and avoid running the audio cable in parallel with mains power cables to minimise potential interference.

Recommendations

For best signal integrity, use this 0.5 m cable for close-proximity connections where minimal cable length reduces loss and interference. Avoid tight bending at the plug entry and unplug by gripping the metal housing rather than pulling the textile sheath. If routing near power cords is unavoidable, cross them at right angles to reduce induced noise.
