Audio konvertor DeLOCK 63972

The DeLOCK 63972 digital-to-analogue audio converter converts optical (TOSLINK) or S/PDIF coaxial digital audio signals into an analogue stereo output via RCA. The compact black unit includes a Micro-USB B connector for power, an integrated headphone jack and a front-panel volume control. It supports sample rates of 32, 44.1, 48, 96 and 192 kHz and is intended for connecting devices such as DVD or Blu-ray players to analogue amplifiers, powered speakers or headphones.

Advantages

The DeLOCK 63972 offers flexible input options (optical and coaxial) and provides analogue RCA output plus a headphone jack, enabling connection to a variety of consumer audio equipment. Its support for multiple common sample frequencies up to 192 kHz preserves audio detail when converting digital signals. The built-in volume control allows direct level adjustment without additional equipment, while the compact dimensions (70 × 60 × 20 mm) make it easy to place near source devices.

Suitable for

• Connecting DVD or Blu-ray players with TOSLINK or S/PDIF outputs to analogue amplifiers or speakers
• Converting digital coaxial signals to RCA for legacy stereo systems
• Using the headphone jack for private listening from a digital source

How to use

Connect the digital source (for example a DVD or Blu-ray player) to the converter's optical (TOSLINK) or coaxial S/PDIF input. Connect the RCA outputs to an analogue amplifier or active speakers, or plug headphones into the 3.5 mm jack. Supply power to the device via a Micro-USB B cable and a suitable 5 V USB power source. Adjust the output level using the integrated volume control. Verify the source device is set to output digital audio on the chosen interface.

Recommendations

Use short, high-quality TOSLINK or coaxial cables to minimise signal loss. Ensure the power source provides stable 5 V via Micro-USB. If you experience hum or noise, check grounding of connected equipment and try alternative cables or inputs.
