Avision AD340GFN skener s plochým sklom a ADF s 1200 x 1200 DPI, A4, 50-listový ADF, duplex, biely

The Avision AD340GFN is a combined flatbed and automatic document feeder (ADF) scanner designed for A4 scanning with up to 1200 x 1200 optical DPI and 48-bit input colour depth. It integrates a 50-sheet ADF and a flatbed surface so you can scan mixed batches of documents, receipts, business cards and embossed plastic cards in a single device. The unit uses LED illumination and a CMOS CIS sensor to deliver fast duplex scanning and includes onboard image processing to crop, deskew and optimize scans automatically.

Advantages

The AD340GFN pairs the speed of an ADF with the flexibility of a flatbed, allowing irregular sizes and embossed cards to be scanned without separate equipment. It supports duplex scanning and a robust paper path that accepts a wide range of paper weights and card thicknesses, while an advanced friction roller and ultrasonic multi-feed detection improve paper separation and feeding reliability. Built-in processing accelerates cropping, straightening and image optimization, and bundled software enables one-touch scan-to-cloud, e-mail or local applications.

Suitable for

• Office environments needing mixed-batch scanning of documents and cards
• Front-desk or reception areas that process IDs, licences and insurance cards
• Departments requiring searchable PDFs and quick scan-to-cloud workflows

When it may not be suitable

This scanner is intended for document-heavy environments up to its rated daily duty cycle; it may not be ideal for extremely high-volume central reprographics departments that exceed the specified 8,000 pages per day on a sustained basis. It is also not a large-format scanner and is limited to A4/216 x 356 mm maximum scan size, so it cannot be used for larger documents or wide-format media.

Key specifications

• Optical resolution: 1200 x 1200 dpi
• Scan speed: up to 40 ppm (simplex) / 80 ipm (duplex) depending on settings
• Input colour depth: 48-bit
• ADF capacity: 50 sheets
• Maximum supported paper size: 216 x 356 mm (A4 range)
• Supported media: business cards, receipts, embossed plastic cards (up to 1.25 mm thick)
• Paper weight handling: up to 413 g/m2 (110 lbs) in ADF
• Sensor type: CMOS CIS
• Illumination: LED
• Connectivity: USB and Ethernet LAN
• Built-in display: yes
• Internal memory: 512 MB
• Power: AC 19 W
• Weight: 5 kg
• Noise level: 52 dB

How to use

Place regular documents in the 50-sheet ADF or position non-standard items such as receipts, photos or embossed cards on the flatbed. Use the front-panel Scan button or the bundled Button Manager software to start a scan and send images to a preconfigured destination such as e-mail, printer, local application or cloud services (e.g., Google Drive, Microsoft SharePoint). The scanner’s image processor will automatically crop multiple items on the flatbed, deskew and optimize images during scanning.

What to consider before purchase

• Maximum scan size is limited to 216 x 356 mm (A4); larger originals require a different scanner
• Rated daily duty cycle up to 8,000 pages—verify expected daily volumes against this figure
• Embossed card thickness support up to 1.25 mm—check card types you plan to scan
• Requires USB or Ethernet connection and compatible drivers (TWAIN/ISIS) for integration

Recommendations

For reliable daily operation, separate delicate or very thin receipts from heavy stock before loading the ADF, use the flatbed for small or embossed items, and enable ultrasonic multi-feed detection and image preprocessing in the software to reduce errors and improve final image quality.
