In daily use

The BL188N-XJ feels balanced in hand and responds quickly to trigger input. The brushless motor runs cooler and more efficiently than brushed equivalents, which means more work per charge. Switching between gear 1 and gear 2 is straightforward, and the hammer mode engages with a simple collar rotation. The 10+1 clutch lets you dial in the right torque for delicate screws or full power for heavy drilling. The LED light illuminates the bit tip, reducing shadows in cabinets or behind studs. Since the chuck accepts bits up to 13 mm, you can use a wide range of accessories.
