BlueOptics SFP3232FU5MK InfiniBand optický kábel 5 m SC

The BlueOptics SFP3232FU5MK InfiniBand fibre optic cable 5 m SC is a multimode OM4 duplex cable designed for high-speed data links in data centres, server rooms and network racks. With SC connectors on both ends and a 5 metre length, this cable supports reliable full duplex communication and is intended for short to medium reach connections where low latency and high bandwidth are required.

Advantages

This OM4 fibre cable provides a higher modal bandwidth compared with lower grade multimode fibres, enabling greater data throughput and extended reach for 10/40/100 Gbps InfiniBand and other high-speed interconnects. The SC connectors ensure stable mechanical coupling and straightforward installation into standard SC ports. Its 125 µm core diameter is compatible with common multimode transceivers and supports predictable optical performance in rack-to-rack and chassis interconnect scenarios.

How to use

Route the 5 m OM4 cable between the two devices ensuring minimal bending and avoiding sharp kinks. Insert each SC connector into the corresponding SC port until it clicks or seats securely; confirm the duplex orientation matches transmit/receive pairs. For best performance, keep connectors clean and use dust caps when not connected. After installation, verify link status and run diagnostics or throughput tests according to your network equipment procedures.

Recommendations

Store and handle the fibre cable following standard fibre handling practices: avoid tight bends, protect connectors from dust, and maintain bend radius greater than the manufacturer’s minimum. Use OM4-rated transceivers and ensure patch panel and transceiver types match SC multimode connections to achieve expected performance.
